KIPPster of the Month: Maxine Mcmillan, XULA '23

Our June KIPPster of the Month is Maxine Mcmillan, a KHHS '19 alumna attending Xavier University of Lousiana.

Major: Biology.

Favorite College Experience: Attending my freshman orientation

College Challenge: Time management and figuring out how I study have been the biggest challenges. Studying biology has been a challenge because of all the information I have to take in all at once.

Goals: My short-term goals are to finish my biology major with grades of B+ or higher and landing an internship in a hospital or medical office. My long-term goal is to own my own medical practice.

Stress Management Practice: I go to the gym when I can. I'll also treat myself sometimes and go out with friends.

Motivational Song/Quote: Beyonce's albums have really helped me so far.
